HVDC Transmission Interconnector
Owner's engineering across a 339-mile, 400kV, 1,250MW subsea and underground cable route. All installation and transportation analyses, detailed crossing design in extremely soft soils, concrete bridge design, on-bottom stability, anchor strike protocol, transport barge deadweight survey and inclining experiment, canal air draft clearance survey, repair installation reel design, construction incident root cause analysis, and on-site construction management - carried into a long-term O&M contract.
Crude Oil Terminal
Multi-discipline engineering and design for a 200,000 barrel-per-day crude oil terminal. PFDs and P&IDs for incoming metering, storage, and customer delivery; civil and foundation design for metering skids, 100,000 BBL storage tanks and pumps; 3D piping modeling; electrical design including 10MVA incoming at 4160V and a 5MVA 480V transformer for booster and pipeline pumps; control system on Allen-Bradley ControlLogix with FactoryTalk View SE.
Midstream Flow Assurance Program
Predictive hydraulic models for 20 discrete oil and gas pipelines and their terminals - existing, in construction, and planned. Steady-state analysis in SYNERGI Pipeline Simulator and OLGA benchmarked against current operating conditions, full-system pressure surge analysis, updated operating manuals, and a pigging plan across six temperature ranges. Over 2,000 discrete simulations across nine months.
National Operator Decommissioning Campaign
Engineering lead on the first ever Brazilian offshore decommissioning project - removal of three fixed jacket platforms. Study of removal options and concepts, global and local structural strength analysis to API RP 2A WSD and AISC, vessel stability intact and damaged, motions analysis developing barge RAOs and QTFs, station keeping, structural lifting analysis, seafastening, lift plans, weight takeoffs, and piece-small cut plans.
Turbine Compressor Station OSBL
OSBL engineering and design for a new turbine compressor platform. 3D model built in CADWorx to the operator's own piping and insulation standards and integrated into their existing site model; general site plan within a limited disturbance area; OSBL electrical design and cable schedules; interconnection wiring packages integrated into the existing fire and gas system.
FPSO Topsides & Mooring Conversion
Modified topsides facilities to increase gas flow four-fold at a new location. New HP and test separator skids, HP/MP/LP flare vessel skids, gas turbine power generator, pig receivers, and flare header and tips - heat and material balance, P&IDs, loop diagrams, cause and effect charts, firewater, piping stress and supports. Converted from turret moored to a 12-point spread mooring system.
Offshore Gas Field Development
FEED completion and detailed design to deliver gas from an offshore platform to an onshore gas plant: a 41.2km offshore pipeline with a shore crossing through an environmentally sensitive area, 1.22km onshore pipeline with road crossing, onshore manifold and pig receiver at the GPU tie-in, installation analysis, and transportation and lift rigging design for the platform installation.
Deepwater Subsea Decommissioning
Engineering assessment and removal support to recover nine mooring lines (chain-polyester-chain), five static infield umbilicals, 34 electrical and hydraulic flying leads, three manifolds with associated guideposts, and 14 rock dumping wellheads. Decommissioning basis of design, static and dynamic recovery analysis, seafastening and grillage design, deck strength analysis, storyboards, lift planning, and procedures.
Cogeneration Turbine Inlet Air System
Design of an inlet bleed air system replacement on a turbine to comply with new state regulations. Hydraulic analysis and air flow rate calculations per pipe section to optimize balanced flow, 3D modeling, 2D fabrication drawings, isometrics and bills of material, with stress analysis and pipe specification to ASME B31.1.
Deep Sea Mining Riser System
Riser and integration equipment design for a deep water mining system rated to a 1,500 kip (~680 mt) top load in 1,700-2,000m water depth. Detailed riser design, topside equipment design, tower design, sedimentation engineering, transportation engineering, fabrication management, and procurement.
Ethylene Transload Safety System
Design and implementation of a fire and gas safety system for a liquid ethylene railcar-to-truck transload facility. Instrumentation specification and optimal placement for protection of operating personnel and the neighbouring community, PLC-controlled logic to stop transfer and block in liquid ethylene on emergency, a new exchanger for cold liquid to flare, and on-site commissioning.
Subsea Wye & Backbone Systems
FEED and detailed engineering across three deepwater tie-back developments: a backbone installation using 14 spools with subsea wye; a subsea wye-manifold on a 14/16" pipeline; and brownfield topsides work covering pipe stress, vibration analysis, structural analysis, and human factors engineering. Basis of design, concept development, constructability, permit support, P&IDs, detailed design, and procurement support.
Offshore Wind & Power Cable Support
Cable lay support, HDD pull-tubes, shore crossings, seafastening, installation aid fabrication, and installation engineering across US offshore wind farm projects.
Buoyant Tower Production Structure
Overall project management and structural engineering for a first-of-a-kind offshore production structure, delivered with local Peruvian teams in a region with no heavy lift assets. Seafastening, hull float-off and upending, topside skid-out and mating, tow to site, magnetite installation and stability, spud can strength and geotechnical evaluation, plus pipeline material procurement, PLET design management, and field installation management.
Drilling Fleet Audit & Compliance Program
Day-to-day management of a drilling contractor's internal rig audit program across five regions - Gulf of Mexico / West Africa, UK, Austral-Asia, Brazil, and corporate offices. Inspection program development and management, fleet compliance management, QMS auditing, procedure development, root cause analysis, and HAZID / HAZOP.
FSRU Integrity & Import Infrastructure
Support to a 24" OD subsea pipeline inspection, repair, and maintenance campaign, including global strength and fatigue analysis and development of a pipeline integrity management system - corporate governing manual, inspection and testing criteria, regulatory guidance register, risk prevention measures, and inspection plan.
Multi-Site Compressor Station P&ID & Electrical One-Line Program
Bringing P&ID and one-line documentation current across dozens of existing sites - multi-site walkdown, P&ID development, and electrical one-line updates. An active, ongoing program demonstrating recurring multi-site delivery at scale.
Multi-Mile Midstream Pipeline FEED & Tank Farm Study
FEED-level pipeline engineering and an associated tank farm layout, supporting a midstream operator's investment decision on a multi-mile route. Delivered directional engineering to inform the client's go/no-go decision.
